Shayne Wright, Chairman, Houston Lighting and Power, and Torben Aabo, Vice-Chairman, Power Cable Consultants, Inc., reported that the Cable Supply Systems Committee met on Tuesday, April 7, with approximately 85 members and guests in attendance. A special presentation was given by Bo Svarrer Hansen, NKT Cables, on "The World’s First Major 420 kV XLPE Cable System". Appendix 7-A of the printed minutes is a summary.
