SC-7 - Fall 1994 Minutes

Fred Koch, Chairman, PECO Energy Company, reported that the Cable Supply Systems Committee met on Wednesday November 9, 1994 at 8:00 AM with 125 members and guests in attendance.

Update on National Electrical Safety Code - C2

Tim Robeson, Carolina Power & Light, has aggreed to act as the NESC/ICC liason. His liason notes are included in Appendix VII - D.

Special Presentations

• H. S. Radhakrishna, Geotherm Inc., presented information about a heat pipe installation to mitigate the thermal interference of a steam line with several pipe type cables.
   
• Sunny Namkung, Commonwealth Edison, presented information on a cold weather induced failure of a forced cooling. system.
