The meeting was convened at 8:00 am on November 2, 1999. Thirty six members and guests were present. Carlos Katz asked to be relieved of his duties as Vice Chair of WG C-17, John Densley agreed to fill the position. Carlos will remain active within the core writing group of WG C-17.

The Guide for Field Testing of Shielded Power Cable Systems Using Very Low Frequency (VLF) has been posted in the ICC download section for comments. A PAR has been filed with the IEEE administration. Upon receiving the PAR the document will be submitted for balloting.
