Mission:

To continually advance the knowledge of, to provide a discussion forum for, and to organize and coordinate working groups that develop guides and standards associated with, sheaths and coverings for insulated conductors.

Scope:

Chemical, electrical, and mechanical characteristics of sheathing, jacketing, and other materials for insulated conductors. Included are: lead and lead alloys; aluminum; copper; jacketing materials; protective coverings, metal-plastic laminate sheaths, armors; and performance in various environments.
