John Tanaka is a well-deserving recipient of this award, for his endless efforts to make Task Group 5-25 - Performance of Extruded Dielectrice - the most successful of all working groups in the ICC. He has been involved with Working Group 5-25 from 1983 to 1994 when he took over as Chairman of Subcommittee 5 - Insulations.
His distinguished career in Insulations cannot go unnoticed because he brought his expertise to ICC and he has presented many papers at ICC Winter Power Meetings and Summer Power Meetings.
John is past President of the DES and Editor of Insulations Magazine.
We are grateful for John’s services to the industry and particularly to the ICC.
