Gary Polhill


Gary Polhill received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1968. After graduation, he joined the Commonwealth Edison Company in Chicago, Illinois, where he has worked in a variety of engineering design and management positions. He is currently a General Design Engineer specializing in underground transmission cable systems in the Transmission Reliability and Standards Department. He is Chairman of the IEEE ICC Standards and Publications Subcommittee #2. In that role he serves on the Administrative Committee of the ICC, and on the IEEE PES Standards Coordinating Committee.
