Spring 2001 - PES-ICC Mini-Expo
The ICC is hosting a Mini-Expo at the Spring 2001 Meeting. It's an
opportunity for companies to present their products and services related to the scope of
the ICC. Companies signed up for the expo so far are:
- USi - USi
specializes in monitoring, rating, and diagnostic solutions for power delivery systems.
Their display will feature software for PC/Windows platforms to evaluate cable ampacity
and temperature.
- Programma Electric Inc.
will demonstrate a high voltage dielectric spectroscopy system for diagnostics of water
tree deteriorated extruded insulation.
- G&W
Electric will have a table top displaying heat shrinkable joints and
terminations.
- JMed & Associates will have a table top demonstrating the
"Minutes Manager" program for searching the ICC minutes.
- Hubbell-Hipotronics
will demonstrate their OWTS with PD site location.
- Elastimold/Thomas
& Belts will feature their Molded Underground Connector System for cable including
vacuum interuptor and switch.
- Tyco Electronics -
Energy Division will demonstrate a tool free medium voltage termination and a
low voltage gel splice.
- Sumitomo Electric
Industries will demonstrate a partial discharge measuring system which is
useful for evaluating a HV power cable system including the power cables, joints and
terminations.
Display hours will be as follows:
- Sunday, April 22: 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Will be open
during ICC Reception)
- Monday, April 23: Noon to 2:00 p.m.
- Monday, April 23: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
