September 23, 2014 - Fall 2014 Newsletter

The Fall 2014 ICC newsletter is now available at the following link.  Find out the latest happenings within the ICC and what will be taking place in Colorado Springs.  As always, your comments and suggestions are welcome.

September 16, 2014 - Spouse Program

Fun things are planned for the Spouses Activities in Colorado Springs.  Monday will be a trip to Cripple Creek, an old mining town on the west side of Pikes Peak.   The historic streets are lined with distinctive shops, restaurants, and museums.  Other activities available include a historic mine tour, a Heritage Center, and gambling.  On Tuesday, the group will explore the shops in Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, both on the east side of Pikes Peak.  The shopping tour includes over 100 fine galleries, specialty shops, boutiques, restaurants, and even a mineral spring.  On Wednesday, fun activities are planned at the hotel, including games and bingo, with prizes offered for the winners.   A brochure has been posted here.

September 16, 2014 - Fall 2014 Technical Programs

A number of updates to the technical program have been posted here.  These include updates to Subcommittee A, B, Educational Session and both the Networking and Transnational Luncheons.

September 11, 2014 - Hotel Update, Fall 2014

The deadline for booking a hotel room in the ICC block is tomorrow, Friday September 12th.  However, there are some dates that the hotel has already sold out of rooms in the block.  If you find you cannot get a room at teh Cheyenne Mountain Resort, some suggested alternatives are listed on the Fall 2014 meeting page.

September 5, 2014 - Fall 2014 Education Program - Innovation and its Impact on Utilities

The topic and presenters for the Fall 2014 Education Program has been announced - Innovation and its Impact on Utilities. The presentation topics can be found at this link.  Remeber to register for this activity, especially if you would like to receive CEU credits.

September 3, 2014 - Fall Meeting Registration

It is now approximately 1 month (4 weeks) until the Fall 2014 ICC Meeting convenes at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, CO!  The meeting will be held October 5-8, 2014.  Registration opened on Tuesday, September 2, and will remain open until 5:00 PM EDT Friday, September 26, 2014.  Please complete your Pre-Registration activity by the indicated deadline for the advanced registration rates to apply.  Pre-registration is available at:  Even if you do not plan to use a credit card, please use the On-line Advance Registration process!  This greatly helps with our meeting planning, and will minimize the time you spend standing in line during on-site Registration.
