October 17, 2017 - Working Group Agenda's and Guidbook
Don't forget to use the Guidebook app for up to date
agenda's including working and discussion group's like WG B09 Guide for the
Evaluation of Solvents Used for Cleaning Electrical Cables and Accessories
and DG C37 on Submarine Cables. Guidebook is avaible in most smartphone
"app stores". Details are available on the

October 12, 2017 - Fall 2017 Meeting Agenda Update

September 29, 2017 - Hotel Update, Congratulations WG C25W on IEEE Standard
The Margaritaville Beach Resort has sold out for our
meeting time. Details on an overflow rate at the Hollywood Beach Marriott
are available on the Fall meeting page.
Congratulations to Working Group C25W on the successful approval of a new
revision of IEEE Standard 442-2017 "IEEE Guide for Thermal Resistivity
Measurements of Soils and Backfill Materials" which was formally approved by the
SA Board on September 28th!
September 27, 2017 - Table Top's Sold Out
All table tops are now sold out, and the hotel has no
additional room currently to accomodate more table top displays.
September 25, 2017 - Fall 2017 Registration now open.
Registration for the
Fall 2017 meeting is now
open at www.pesicc.org. Registration
will close on Friday, October 20th.
Also on the
Fall 2017 meeting page a
letter of invitation has been posted under the registration section. This
letter can be filled out to assist with approval and travel document purposes.

The Fall 2017
ICC Newsletter has been
posted here. Please take a moment to first read some of the various
articles about what is going on in the ICC, and then share it with a collegue
who might be interested in what is going on in the ICC!

Fall 2017 meeting here.
September 13, 2017 - Fall 2017 Meeting Status Update and 2nd Draft Agenda
As all of you are aware, Florida has suffered
significant devastation after being hit by hurricane Irma. Our thoughts,
prayers and hopes for a fast recovery go out to all of Florida. Our upcoming
meeting is scheduled to be held in Hollywood, Florida. The hotel has informed
us that they fortunately only suffered landscape damage and expect to be fully
operational by the end of this week. Based on this update our upcoming meeting
will take place as scheduled at the Margaritaville Beach Resort in Hollywood,
second draft agenda has been posted for the
Fall 2017 meeting. Please
keep in mind this still is an early draft, and will change before the meeting.

September 5, 2017 - Fall 2017 Meeting Spouses Program
A tour of the 16th century Italian Renaissance-styled
Villa Vizcaya Museum and Gardens has been planed as
part of the Spouses program. More details can be found on the
Fall meeting page. Note that
pre-registration will be required for this, as there is a limit of 25 spaces for
the tour that will include lunch on Monday.
August 1, 2017 - Passing of Bill Thue
It is with sadness that we share news of the passing of
Bill Thue, who died peacefully at his home in London on July 12th. Bill
was 93. A private funeral is planned for August 9, and a Memorial Service
is planned for April 28, 2018 in London. Bill was a past Chair of ICC, an
IEEE Fellow, and the recipient of the ICC Distinguished Service Award in 1985.
June 19, 2017 - Spring 2017 Awards
The Spring 2017 meeting included a large awards to our
members. Thanks were extended to a number of officers of both
Subcommittees and Working/Discussion Groups who were ending their terms of
